:oops: OOPS!! Forgot that large-capacity drives may have a jumper to limit the cylinder count!!! Guess the adage, "you loose what you don't use" is true when you haven't come into that situation in a long time! And 'getting old' is another onus.
You will loose some capacity of larger drives, but the older 40 gig and such sizes are getting very scarce.

The maximum size for which this bios can be adapted would be 128GB per drive. I may be able to dig up an update from somewhere and patch it so you can use the 80GB disks to full capacity. No guarantee, this can only be done with Award bioses.

Mark H: unfortunately, both links are only throughputs to the now dead soyo.com.tw domain. I'll check if it's in the archives...
