Hi,
In this BIOS, you change SATA ports 1 - 4 as a single unit, not individually.

I will have a Raid 0 array on 1 & 2, and need to have non-raid disks on 3 and possibly 4.

SATA ports 5 & 6 (IDE mode) are occupied.

Will that work?

Mobo = Asus M4A785-M
BIOS type = AMI
BIOS version = 0906
CPU = Phenom x4 9850
RAM = 8G DDR2 800

Thanks,
Charles

From my experience if the two drives are not raided, the controller will pass the drives to the OS as IDE
