The motherboard doesn't have any manufacter name..
And it was working with a pentium 233 mmx and suports intel, amd and cyrix processers. It haves an intel chipset named fw8243stx.
And it haves a via II vt82c42n chip.

Very difficult to name. Off hand it seems to match a variety of PC Chips Motherboards, I'll see what I can find on your chipset before I post a few possibilities.

I think the chip name you meant to post was FW82439TX; because I can't find a match for the "stx". That would narrow it down to the following:

M550:

M572:

Support Pages for all PC CHips Models:
http://www.wimsbios.com/~ajzchips/index.htm

If these do not match, click here and you will be brought to a search page. Leave the chipset blank and enter the rest of the information. You will get about 20+ matches with pictures to choose from.

I think the M550 because of the prominently visible VIA keyboard controller chip

More info on my mainboard !

Postby louras » Mon Jun 03, 2002 1:31 pm

That's right, the chipset of intel it end's in ...9TX , and I look for it as told me, and the most - look a like - my mainboard is this one:

http://iceberg.pchomeworld.com/cgi-win/ ... art=MB5004

Only the RAM slot's are diferent, but the processor is in the same place, like the RAM , the pci slots, etc. , and it haves the two chipset's of intel very near of the processor, betwean the processor and the pci slot's.

Another chip is the via II whit the number - VT82C42N (that is placed near to isa slot's) and on right side of the processor , near the RAM there are 4 chip's with WINBOND named.

Thanks for all the help ! :)

The board has a 430TX chipset. And the config you mentioned above. If its PC Chips the only 2 that match are the ones I posted above. Are you sure, putting color aside (that can change) that they don't look like the one you have?

If not is your board bootable? Can you provide a BIOS String? It looks like this:
XX-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXX-XX
OR
XX/XX/XX-XXXXXX-XXXXXXXXXX-XXXXXXXXX-XX

It will be on the post screen, at the bottom, during the memory test.
