I'm wanting to build a dos/linux machine with this old board but I have no idea who made it etc. It has ALi (right) and Winbond (left) chips, Award BIOS, made in Taiwan and the serial # on the board is AB-PB4, REV 1.3. On the reverse side it has the follow number: FP-142-C13-9B. According to the sticker it was manufactured in 08/1996. Here's a pic:

Does anyone know what I have, where I can get a manual/more info etc? It's so long since I've seen one of these I've got no clue about it.

Thanks in advance! 8)

I thought I would reply to this as it's the top result for this motherboard on Google and there really isn't much info at all anywhere else. I have owned one since I bought it in 1995 when I built my AMD-based DX4 system and I've still got the floppy disk that has the drivers (DOS and Windows) for enhanced IDE PIO mode. If anyone wants me to upload this I'll do so and provide a link.

You mean there's no links for the busmaster drivers for the 430VX chipset for DOS and windows 3.x anywhere anymore? If so, yeah, upload them somewhere and provide us with a link.
