Searching for Olivetti Motherboard Info/Manual, model BA2164

Post by Eld »

Hello, I've got an Olivetti motherboard model *BA2164* that has lost it's manual.

Here's some pictures of the board:

I've read these other related posts and was hoping someone may be able to find some information for me or send me a pdf that applies to my BA2164:

Searching Olivetti mobo manual, model BA2161 inside M4 464S

Also wondering: Is there a name for this motherboard form-factor and are there any case options aside from another similar Olivetti case?

Many thanks for any help! I'd like to research it before considering any restoration job :)

Hi, it looks lik it has a standard AT power supply connector. As for the form factor, I believe it is called LPX and you need to get a riser card for extending the number of slots (they will stack sideways).

And, you've got mail :)

Thank you! It looks like a match to me :)

I have the riser but unfortunately I discarded the case in a move, while keeping the mobo and riser for later analysis. The case was in pretty horrible condition but on reflection I probably could have restored it. But sadly, all I have left are these photos:

From what I could quickly gather about LPX, it's not a very firm standard... if anyone knows, please tell me if I would have any other options for cases for this mobo aside from another similar Olivetti or a custom-built one.

yep. loose is the word.

$130 and no power supply yet. They start to become rare I guess...

Yuo could try your luck on eBay I guess:

$80 still no power supply. First I found, there may be more...
