A Socket 7 motherboard

Postby mgodfrey » Sat Jun 08, 2002 8:55 am

I have just bought a mobo because my son's PC died. :(

The replacement is as follows:
Socket 7
it says PCI TX2 5148 ver 1.1B
It has an Intel chipset - but I am not sure what numbers make up the chip set.

It has 4 PCI slots, 4 ISA slots, 2 DIMMS and 4 SIMMS and has an AMIKEY-2 chip on it.

The bar code on the side is: M9707031380.

If anyone can help, I would be grateful - I can't get it to boot up.

Thank you.

I see from your web site that you have the same probs as me when it comes to kids, she who must be obeyed only has to think about babies and she falls pregnant.
Must go and have my nuts nipped to prevent any more, had 4 but now only three all girls going to cost a fortune when they want to get married. Lost a boy at 4 days old with heart disease.

BTW
Congrats on becoming a mFm.

Tau,
I think we should take this conversation offline if you don't mind. You may have noticed a great silence in this forum...
