toshiba a75 battery charging

Postby tamayowut » Wed Jan 13, 2010 1:16 pm

I have an A75 and it doesn't charge the battery, I've removed the motherboard and the power jack is firmly solderd and glued down. Does anyone have any other suggestions or maybe which other toshiba motherboard would fit in the A75 case. (i.e. A79) :)

Welcome to Motherboards.org!
The battery itself may be bad. It has internal fuses for thermal and short protection. The laptop should work without the battery, just on the power pack. If not, then find another identical power pack and try that.
The only mainboard which would fit that case is the one intended. Each model is designed with one mainboard model in mind, at most.
