bought this at a garage sell for 5 bucks would like to know what it supports cant find anything online only places that sell them

That's about the best you're gonna find. It's a oldie, so if you plan on using it, get ready to hunt down compatible parts, and it IS old enough to still require HP-specific RAM and such. PNY supplied that memory, as far as I recall. It won't support any P4 with Hyperthreading, only previous P4's up to the 2.8ghz/533mhz speed.

N1996 is on all MSI boards. It's not a type number.

The Argon is an OEM version of the MS-6507E, I've got some sort of a manual here:

Yeah, tracking it down to Argon, then putting that in the HP support site gave me just that one board. Nothing else I found listed anything for specs.
