Question on Soyo MB

Postby DMG » Sun Oct 11, 2009 8:51 am

I have a Soyo dragon kt333 or kt400 but I can't find my disc with drivers for it. I need to know how to identify my MB and also where can I find the all in 1 disc that comes with the MB? The Soyo site is down so I can't get any support there.

You have a VT8235 southbridge with integrated audio and network. So it's an all-VIA drivers story here:

I downloaded the audio driver for the VT8235 and tried to install it, the installer wizard said it could not locate an AC97 device.

DOH! I wasn't realizing they can still choose the audio and LAN chip and Soyo chose to put in a CMI8738 from C-media. Drivers:
http://www.cmedia.com.tw/drivers.html

and a Realtek RTL8100B. Drivers:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dow ... Down=false

My mistake.
