Yes I have done a full search on the full bios string and the 1st 4 numbers in 3rd set is the manufacturer ID however it comes up blank, LBA is Logical Block Addressing and Basic was the thing back in the day as well as Gorilla Basic,I still remember all the old school days of doing stuff, even creating a text file or batch file at the command prompt without using any text editing program, it suck that Microsoft is slowly taking all the command lines out.

Will do some more searching. The exact parsing of the search quest is important.. otherwise you get a lot of non-related links.
The command lines have not been extricated, but now they are in the form of a URL link from the choice menus.
The primary command search is still present, if you go to the 'run' feature and type in 'cmd'. But very restrictive.
I still have an archive of older motherboard drivers and settings. But none are close to what you have.
Did you do a comparison to that "Genoa" motherboard model? Looks similar..

1594 indicates MiTAC. Sorry, I was busy elsewhere. I'll have a go at this :)

err I am identifying boards since 1990-something, the manufacturer ID is the 4 actual numbers in that pair which in this case is 1594. This one is now wrongly tied to MiTAC, the actual brand is Trigon. Maybe MiTAC was OEM-ing this board for them, I don't know yet.

Found this:
"Trigon Adcotech was formed when Dynatech made a decision to merge Adcotech with Trigon in 1988. In 1994, Dynatech sold the assets of Trigon Adcotech to private parties."

They just raised the challenge a bit... Let's see what is still out there.

According to American Megatrends the 1st 4 numbers in the 3rd set is the manufacturer ID, I have been in the computer industry for since 1978 and this is the first motherboard I have not been able to indentify

This is another from the same factory. On the BOTTOM side of the board is a marking 386IS-B-6-2.

I'm expecting your board to be marked 486IS-*-* somewhere.

Can you please check again for ANY other markings except the MADE IN TAIWAN R.O.C. which is giving me the feeling this was made by Biostar or FreeTech/Flexus?

Off to hunt a bit more.

Those are the only markings on the board, there is however on the side of the ISA slot a S/N number which is S/N:94125234

That is from the time the third set of number still WAS 4 numbers. Now it is 6, the first two are usually zero, sometimes they are filled to indicate a board is specially made for one of the large system manufacturers.

Anyway. It's a pity there are no more markings on the board. I'll have to see if I can visually identify it's twin brother or can come up with some settings for this thing.

I agree it is a pity that there is no other markings on the board, the bios ID sequence from 4 to 6 is for the current age of computers, this board in question is from 1994 which would apply to the outlined at AMI and also wimsbios
