Best Registry Cleaner and/or Defragger

Postby son0rous » Thu Mar 04, 2004 2:18 pm

So far the best one i can find is RegistryRescue. It has a defragger built in which produces the exact same results as RegCompact and picks up many things other cleaners have missed. Nice interface too. Any others?

It will check a bit more thorough for any inconsistencies in your registry. If you don't install/uninstall apps on a regular basis it's wasted money IMHO.

I use Tune-up and it works so well that I bought it after the 30 day freeware was over. I run win2kpro and it works great!
