Exactly, depending on whcih games you have the cards will render differently, so get the card that best suits yoru gamming needs.

forget ATI or Nvidia. If money is no object then 3DLabs make the best...fastest...most RAM, most stable.

When it comes to computers money does matter, but only to a point. You just have to make sure you are getting the best qauilty video card with the most ram.

i think ati has good speed but low quality nvidia has a little less speed but is quality and they have much expierence in making cards

ATI has been around longer, just have the awful drivers with a very powerful card.

Nvidia was the light weight and then became the best for a couple of years (geforece 2 era) and his now being out performed by ati, but there drivers are a lot more stable than ati's

why ati have such bad drivers? why's it so difficult for them? does nvidia just have better programmers and so forth or..?

ati tried to make something unique with the catalyst series - a nice speed booster. Sure it worked, but it proved to be a crap driver set... i think that it's the initial programmers who screwed this up.....
