Whats your favorite browser?

Postby son0rous » Sun May 04, 2003 7:34 pm

The only one i use is Opera unless i absolutely have to use IE for something. After the first time i used Opera i vowed never to go back. All of the pages load twice as fast and everything is contained in ONE window, so being the type of person who always has about 5 different sites running at once this is the perfect solution cause it doesnt clog up my taskbar. Another good feature is that it is skinable, even tho the original skin looks awsome its nice to have a change. It also has a little feature called mouse gestures, allows you to just click and drag your mouse in different directions to control what the browser does, its good if u have a mouse with no extra buttons.
The only downside i can see with it is that you have to install all of the plugins manually mainly because it is a not very widespread yet. But hopefully that will change soon.

Take the Opera plunge, trust me, you wont be dissapointed. They just released their newest version today 7.10, bunch of new updates and features that they invented. Use it for 3 days and tell me if ya like it. It drives me nuts every time i use IE, after using Opera for a long it feels so slow. What do you have to lose by switching for a few days?

just to make it clear i do not work for opera, just love the program.

Netscape is Mozilla, but Mozilla is not Netscape. So I chose other. :) (My brain is mushy from chemistry, so it makes sense to me at least.)
You should fold.
