honestly I am torn between asus, msi, and gigabyte. I have used all three amd honestly they are all very good boards. I am currently running an A7N8X. But I also used a gigabyte GA7VrXP ViaKt333. I also used an msi K7N2Delta-FISR, but sold it because I liked my current board. But all three are very stable and very fast. Intel Vs AMD who cares get what works and will get the job done.

I used an AMD because the = intel was 80 more for the chip and 50 more for the mobo I want $130 = better vid card 8)
Athlon XP 2500+ OCd to 2.25 GHz w/360fsb
Asus A7N8X-Deluxe Mobo
1GB Corsair XMS 2x512
Ati Radeon 9600pro OCd to 509 Core 317 Mem

ABit - currently have an IT7 Max2 and a totally reliable be6II. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Support has been A1 (UK though).
