Owning a firearm of any kind or type requires an enormous amount of responsibility and respect for them. Laws pertaining to them can vary drastically from state to state. It's not entirely correct that guns don't have to be registered in the USA. In NYC hand guns do have to be registered and the owner licensed.

Allowing children to own or to be in possession of a firearm unsupervised is whack, as not many children have any brains today.

Folks should be glad society is allowed to have firearms. You can have all the laws you want preventing the honest citizen from owning a firearm but the criminals will Always have them as they don't give a rats a__ about the law or ones life.

Someone breaks into my house that I know doesn't belong there had better have made pre funeral arrangements for them selves.
