Vista is not all bad...I have a dual boot system and although I admit I more or less stick with XP SP3 I do use Vista and have managed to get some older programmes to run on it...

The irony about it and my experience is that with some new programmes, driver support and just software bugs clams things up....any yet with a patch or 2 I caould run an old game like Tombraider 3 quite nicely

Gaming is my relaxation time, but I also use computer for a wealth of other stuff...

Vista in my view not all bad...not the major transformation we were promised, at this stage hard to say why you would use it....apart from DX10 games, though DX9c looks good too :-|
