I am aware this is still not working for some people. I have my server management team researching the issue but I dont think they are making much progress.

This is another issue I am hoping will be resolved with the next upgrade.

Did they mention anything about it on the phpbb release?

I noticed that I had this problem when I used a comcast.net e-mail address, but when I switched to a gmail one, everything was fine...

I have not seen anything mentioned, not sure if Patrick has or not....

But the next major release of phpBB is not going to be out for a while! Til then it is just security updates...

I'm having the same problem - it worked fine for years and now suddenly it doesn't. I assumed it was because my domain registration lapsed over a weekend when I couldn't get to the internet to renew it, and so all my emails bounced, but it still isn't working... any ideas?

I dont expect this to be resolved until the next version of phpbb. I believe the issue lies with the version of php and apache server I am running.
