Weird Firefox Issue

Postby Hardware Junkie » Fri Jan 07, 2005 6:32 am

Anyone notice after surfing a few sites that Firefox just starts crawling to a hault? Feels like its running out of memory...
Animated Gifs don't load...
You can't really switch tabs very fast
When you right click, instead of getting a raised window with options, it seems pushed back into the HTML page...

Restarting Firefox seems to fix this issue, but it seems odd to me...
This also happens at random. I could be using it for hours and not experience the same problem...

Have you tweaked the settings? I followed those steps on the sticky from the other forum and it messed up my browser. Ended up reinstalling it after scraping out the registry.

Already a sticky, HWJ. I made it one in the General Forum, but now I can't think of where to put it... :?

Maybe Recommendations?

I never seem to have this issue so it must be isolated.

I've never experienced this problem at home, but at work I have about 3 times now. Then again, my work computer sucks and shouldn't even be running Windows XP ;)
