Critical Errors

Postby Pette Broad » Thu Dec 25, 2003 6:45 am

I'm getting a lot of Critical Errors connecting to the Database this morning. Taking me 4 or 5 attempts to open or post messages. Anyone else getting this?

I was just going to post this and say I haven't seen any critical errors, but I got one when I clicked "Submit".

I have also noticed that motherboards.org seems to become unresponsive around midnight here (it's 2:01AM right now). It did happen tonight. It seems to begin working in another hour or two. It doesn't seem to be my ISP, either, as I can still access other web sites.

Edit: I should mention that motherboards.org seems to go down fairly regularly at this time of day for me.

Looks like the server's getting unstable here... wonder what the cause of all this is?

Not sure what was causing the issue this AM. When I was seeing the Critical Errors only about 60 people were on. Surely this small of a number of people veiwing the site isn't enough to crash the site.

Any ideas MoboCop?

Another logfile getting out of hand maybe. Last time the server went unstable was because of a 2GB logfile somewhere...

The web site stopped working again this morning a few hours ago. If there's any way I could help in diagnosing this problem (letting you know when it's working or not, etc), please let me know.

Just keep posting them here. you could try emailing MoboCop, but if the server is down then his email is down as well...........
