Problems... Slowness and blind links?

Has there been an upgrade recentley? Service this end has noticably slowed and I get a load more blind links, like therer has been a 'time out'.... :cry:
I have been programming on computers since the ZX81.
I am an apprentice trained Electronics Engineer with qualifications to back it up.
I have been repairing computers since 1996.
Yet to some people I still know nothing...

Blind links: no, slowing down? Yes. I've noticed it too. What's the cause?

currently the only "known update/upgrade" has been the addition of more ads. Unless, MoboCop has been tweaking the code again and did not tell us.... 8O

Yeah, i've seen those lovely ads on the front page... the one banner in the forums is the max though.

Those lovely ads are what keeps this site going.....

As far as only one ad on the forum being max, MoboCop has the final say in that....... :wink:

Indeed they are what keeps the site afloat, but having that one in the forums, it get many more hits than the front page ones - becase we see it every time... as to having above one, i know he has that say, but having 5 or 6 in here would just be really annoying.

I believe that he can actually get more then one ad on the forums using the same "slot".

actually i dont the ad at the top of the page . just a white box with action cancelled onit and saying internet explorer could not link you to the page you requested . was fine this afternoon though
