The Url must be incorrect. right click the image for properties, highlight that, copy, and paste into offsite avatar thing. After all - mine works and it's ofsite...

The site that you have or are getting the avatar from needs to allow "hot-linking".

A lot of free webhosts do NOT allow "hot-linking". These would include tripod.com, 0catch.com, as well as others. Also a word of advice - ask the site owner/webmaster for permission before robbing a site of bandwidth.....

The url is correct. It's an avatar from another board I belong to.The hotlink
suggestion I think is probably the reason.Thanks.

You mean an image in it from offsite? While possible, the laws of the land forbid it - no images in signatures, text only please.
