If page loads too slow the session may time out. Tried with same system on a faster link?

i mainly use dsl, but have been experimenting w/ dial up due to research into setting up FAH to run w/ dial up config. due to my modem being HSP micromodem, it isn't used w linux. this has occurred during the past couple of days.

Comcast broadband/Netscape 7.1 get errors around 1 to 130 am EST. AOL never had it and never will. I'll use smoke signals first. Getting it in SuSE with Opera also. I don't use IE because of pop ups and security holes.

That is most likely a server problem on this side. Mobocop has hired external help to get it solved.

I seem to get these invalid_sessions when the post count on a topic reaches double figures. I'm having to start a new topic in order to post. Odd :(

EDIT Obviously this post is well into double figures so it doesn't happen all the time

You are using an external browser (i.e. not the AOL browser), correct?

Yes, I use IE (6.0.2600) from within AOL, could that be the problem?

well I would venture that there are situtions with PHP (the scripting language used by these forums) has issues with sessions.

I will be upgrading to the latest version of phpbb soon (we are already running latest version of php itself). Hopefully this will correct the invalid session problems once and for all (they were introduced on the version we are using now or the one just prior to it, cannot recall).

invalid_sessions appeared with 2.04. That's the reason wimsbios is already running 2.06
