Could be my company's network, but judging from the lack of new posts, it looks like a connectivity problem...

Yeah, after I posted my 2nd message above, it crapped out again... Maybe a DOS attack, or Doc is just using the server to host a Command & Conquer Generals game... :wink:

Slow or inoperable for me too. It started with me around 3 a.m. today & hasn't gotten any better. I checked other sites & they work fine, but not another phpbb yet. I ran the gamut on my system & everything's fine w/it. I'm gonna check another forum now & will post back if I have the same problems with it. :wink:

Boy, she's a humming along pretty good now! Thanks! All day, everytime I clicked on something I kept hearing that old Heinz Ketchup song they used in there commercials years ago, Anticipation. :lol: :wink:

dunno what happened, it was slow (just the forum). other phpbb board ran fine. seems solved now :)

we had a rush of users. At one point we have over 2500 users online at once.

This slowed the server down considerably.

Actually I was pondering, and it was probably Doc's review on the 3000+ AMD chip that drove all the surfers to this site...
