Topic No Longer Exists Error

Postby Toby B. » Mon Jun 03, 2002 10:05 pm

I am recieving emails because of responses to topics I have joined in. I cut and paste the link to the address bar to be able to view the responses. When the page opens it says Topic no longer exists. When infact it does exist. This has happened about 4 - 5 times on me.

Do0d i turned that off and soon as I discovered it existed. Do you realize how much email I would get per day? I just preffer to login and see what has changed. I usually read every single post anyways. :P

I usually read every single post anyway.
I know that is partially due to being a moderator, but juist for curiosity sake how much time do you spent on this forum a night? I have been on here for about 6 - 8 hours a night - reading what I can, learning, helping out the little I can, and asking questions (even if my questions make me look like a dummy)

The email responses from this forum is the only mail I get lately, I like signing on and hearing "you've got mail"

But if I am on the net I am usually here.

Adictive isn't it? :D

I never like hearing that. It makes me want to hurt things. It makes my head hurt. It makes me wish WAV files did not exist...I really dispise AOL.

But yes I have to agree that getting mail from ppl who come here, whether it be a "thank you" or a "HELP" message is quite rewarding...

I sometimes get email messages on posting in forums that I visited very long ago or that don't even exist anymore (from Google's cache). Those are the funniest because half of the time you have to ask what topic they are talking about.

There's one category that makes me feel very proud and happy: that is when someone tells me the info on my webpages was a lifesaver.
