My computer has reciently come into contact with a virus, something called PE WEIRD or something, anyway i scanned and deleted it BUT, and the BUT is the problem...

Now every *.exe file (thats what the virus infects) it stuffed, Every EXE, when executed comes up with "..is not a valid Win32 application"

This is EVERY EXE on my system and there are quite a few. Is there any solution to this problem, anyway to fix these files, because im sure that they are still in working condition (as in the virus didn't damage them), but this problem is to do with the way they were cleaned.

If there is any way to correct this, please post it as ive added up all the files and it is >500MB, mostly downloaded (56K) and will take a long time to replace..

You should be able to clean them.

Backups? Anti-virus software? Regular updates? Oh well...
