using old pci graphics card with new mb

Postby Robpeteuk » Tue May 28, 2002 5:52 am

Is there any problem with using an old 2mb pci graphics card with a new mb with a 4xagp as I do not need fast graphics at the moment though I may upgrade in the future. I presume not though I wanted to check. Thanks Rob

There should be no problem at all using a PCI graphics card in a mobo that supports AGP cards. Read your manual closely!!! you may need to disable the AGP in order for the PCI card to work properly.

Hope this helps
