Im stupid, ill admit it 8O , but after reading the link i am still confused

Will the asus only run 333 if it is overclocked to do so. Will the 845G do so without being overclocked.

If the Asus does need to be overclocked how much overclocking needs to be done, is it quite a hassle or is it just a case of changing a setting in the bios. Could this overclock lead to instability?

Thanks for your patience with me,
James

Did you overclock to get it to run 333 then?

No, not me but "they". I only posted the link to the review, it's not my handiwork at all.

The answer to your question is in the quote.

For the record, we have gotten our memory up to 333 MHz on this board with a bit of overclocking.

Any overclocking can lead to instability but not necessarily in every case, you never know until you try.

If you are looking at buying one of these boards I suggest that you hang off a bit until the situation becomes clearer.

If you must purchase now take a close look at the Epox board as it seems to have full support for DDR333.
