I just got DSL and there is a small difference, but not much.

massive improvement for me and I have Verizon's slowest DSL.

I think that "100" value might be similar to download managers that start many download streams.

I supposed if you are moving a lot of content from a given server, the "100" might be considered rude and hogish.

But I'm just guessing!

is it just me, or does FF get a little more unstable when you do it?? i have gotten a slight amount of more lock ups then normal

lockups aren't normal (with XP anyway; I haven't had one for months)......what's the problem?
