Post by Comp_parter »

I have two Raspberry Pi's to play with.
Anyone else playing with these fun devices?

No, but I play with a lot of Linux distributions which are aimed at the Pi. I have been tempted, but I have two many other things on the boil.
They are very versatile and good for low powered stuff...
I have been programming on computers since the ZX81.
I am an apprentice trained Electronics Engineer with qualifications to back it up.
I have been repairing computers since 1996.
Yet to some people I still know nothing...

I have a Pi-based thingy running LibreElec for now. Just one of the many things you can use it for...

I have one that I play with.
I have used it as a media center to play my borrowed movies and such.
I used it to work through the Learning SQL book from O'reilly.
Currently I am trying to use it to play Space Invaders and Asteroids but it seems terribly slow for that.

Emulating old consoles didn't work for me either. I only use Raspberry Pi for my TV with with OpenELEC.
