I paid for an optional best quality display on my new LCD LED laptop, is there a way of telling if I got what I paid for?

Thanks.....

What are the different specifications between the 'standard' and 'premium' display panels?
Pixel DPI and resolution, refresh rate? Do a video test with a program such as 3D Mark.

Yes, if the screen is glossy, has really bright and viberant colours and if you play an HD film and in major action sequences there is no shadowing/ghosting or ppixelation, then the screen is premium... I have an old SONY laptop with a glossy screen, low response time and the colours and brightness blows away my similar spec HP screen..
