Hi
I want to upgrade my computer.
I need to know if my motherboard support 8GB DDR3 RAM memory?
This is the model of the mother board: G41TM-E43 (MS-7592) Version 2.0
Thanks

Welcome to Motherboards.org.
That motherboard only supports DDR2 type memory, up to 8 GB.
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/G41TME43. ... cification
There is a different key location (notch) on the module contact strip, and different number of contacts, for each type of RAM class. Each type fits only the designed-for slot.
But a 64-bit OS type must be installed to utilize that amount. A 32-bit OS type can only access about 3.5 GB, which has to include any device cards with their own dedicated memory.
F@H.. to solve mankind's maladies.. in our lifetimes!
