I tried to install the VIA USB 3.0 driver from the support page for my mobo and I got an error message ... "Sorry install wizard can't find the proper component for the current platform. This was a VIA windows XHCI driver. My 3.0 USB port isn't working when it did work before the crash. I have contacted Gigabyte to find out what is going on. :-|

Check the user's manual about USB 3.0 settings in the BIOS.
Check page 25 as to the different settings for USB feature.
Some older motherboards did have a BIOS control to enable the USB 2.0 ports from the USB 1.0 standard.

It says rt2870 which is a MediaTek/RaLink USB wireless adapter for which the very latest manufacturer drivers can be downloaded here:
