tx pro 2 motherboard

Postby poster1 » Sat May 11, 2013 6:48 am

Hi, I am trying to find out whether the Mitac SPU-75 psu i have, is compatible with tx pro 2 mother board, as when I plug it in, only the mthrbrd /cpu and the disks power on and I don't hear a POST signal?

Would be relieved if anyone could help.

Thanks a lot

Welcome to Motherboards.org.
That power supply is way too inadequate for that motherboard! It is rated at only 75 watts, and you would need a minimal 350 watt PSU to power it.
Motherboard specs:
Better to use a 400 watt PSU, it will not "push" more power to the system than required. But the unused wattage is a good factor for proper regulation.

Baby AT power supply, Baby AT board, with this chipset has to be the PC Chips M571

Please check the troubleshooting sticky post in the tech support forum.

For this setup if you're not using a supserduper gaming card a 200 or 235 W AT supply will be fine. Make sure the memory you're using is compatible and the jumper settings for the CPU match.
