2T or 1T for DDR3?

Postby piwacet » Sun Nov 29, 2009 6:20 pm

For my soon-to-arrive phenom II system I'll have this memory:

GeIL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... gb1333c7dc

And this motherboard:

ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813131402

I'm prepared to adjust the memory timings to the advertised 7-7-7-24 if need be, but I can't figure out what command rate, 1T or 2T, should be used.

The only other time I built a computer, with DDR memory, 1T was standard I think.

I'm not going to overclock.

Anyone know?

Thanks!
