When mentioning the next-gen IGP-chipsets you say:
"... corresponding [DX10 Capable] Intel chipset has not been announced as of yet."
Oh no? What about G35? It's been around since Q4 -07 and packs a DX10 capable IGP, the first one to hit market!

My main question about the 630i would be memory performance since it's the only chipset I've seen in quite a while not to support dual-channel memory. Won't 800MHz memory bottleneck a 1333MHz FSB? The review says nothing about that even though the 630i comes in last in nearly every bookmarking...

AFAIK, Intel's G35 has NO VISTA DX10 driver and won't till later this year. You can read more here:

Note, that the G35 chipset has been out for a long time without driver support for DX10 you might as well call it useless
