That "EA81510A.15A.0012.P09" looks more like the model tag string. Have a Gateway socket 370 mobo, out of a "MFATXSTLKTH 300S". Did have Win XP on it, maybe the drivers are on the OS disk? this is an old Gateway PC , that before it was given to me originally had Windows ME ( :p ...

Hey Karl, ok... on a side note ReactOS is not fully detecting the CDRW drive... so it is not showing up in Device Manager... and my USB flash drive is not being detected either... so I have no way of getting the drivers on to my old PC at this time :( besides that, the ReactOS USB driver support is ...

wow I ran into this old thread of mine... its been ten years...
I still have this old PC sitting around in the closest.. I found I could more or less get ReactOS to run.. now I'm just trying to get either
XP or Win2k drivers for it...

I'm having another problem linked to the windows updates failing...

my copy of windows WON'T activate the error code I get links to the "Plug and Play" service and failed permissions it would seem, that what I got when I googled it.

A driver file must have a digital signature matching the WHQL list for the OS version to be acceptable. If not as required, may be rejected. I tried the most up to date drivers from the ASUS website to no avail.... the drivers had a folder for vista64 but not win7 even though they said they were compatible. its ok the MS default HD audio drivers work and I have sound. here is my CPUz report for my new PC: http://valid.x86.fr/ssns8i audio...

I tried disabling Flow Control but no go. :(

so in the end I ended up doing what the guy in that forum post you posted did bought a PCI based NIC to solve the connection issue...

sleep mode doesn't work right.
