Nice looking rig, but I'm a little surprized that the little Micro Rad is enough to keep your CPU cool enough for OC'ing. ............. :o

The E6850 can clock much higher than the quads, E6850's have been hitting at or near 4 GHz on high-end air where Quads, (even the new G0 Steppings) are hitting maybe 3.2 on air, maybe a bit higher if you really push them temp wise. I have the same siks on my board, all I did was clean the ram and then warm the tape with a heat gun to get them to stick, nothing extra added.

They do pretty well really, with both the GPU and CPU max OC'd I get a max load of 36c while becching. during normal game play and what not, it gets to maybe 30c for the CPU and 28c for the GPU.

Only if you're into OC'ing, you can get just about as cool on good air cooling if you're running stock or close to stock. Water cooling costs a ton of money, so it's pretty much up to you if you have the cash. With my system I can turn all the fans off and run totally passive while overclocked and s...
