Yeah. I am running the latest bios.

The strange thing is, this problem didn't happen with my old mobo. So im not quite sure what is going on.

Maybe the mobo i bought has a unique power save feature i am unaware of?

I think I may have solved the problem by clearing the cmos. I forgot to clear it after updating the bios.

Ill wait and see what happens.

the legacy usb setting is set to enabled.

I checked my bios and it shows that I disabled resume from suspend with mouse.

Maybe its a problem with this particular logitech mouse?

I have updated the drivers, but it still resumes from standby.

I suspect it may have something to do with the usb ports and bios. im not sure.

Not yet, I will try.

I might need to purchase a new keyboard/mouse combo if it doesn't work.

There is a setting called quick boot that is enabled, but on my previous bios version, it was also enabled and the bios splash screen did not disappear so quickly.

I set the option to disable resume on wake with the mouse, but it still resumes my computer. I have an mx600 logitech mouse and a new H57 mobo from asus. I a...

I finally solved the problem. Apparently the usbhub.sys driver was out of date. The hotfix updated the drivers. Here is the hotfix that did the trick. Go to microsoft.com to get the download. KB972109 - The shutdown process does not finish, and you receive an error message on a computer that is runn...
