It doesn't hurt....I have 3 on my linksy's and have Zone Alarm on each one....that way if ur pc get infected and tries to access u will get the pop up access yes/no window.... I should add that mine are not networked..each individually hooked to internet... I also use AdAware to check for spyware......

Just make sure that you get at least 512MB

If ur editing and doing Photo cd's u might wan't to look into a gig. ....

A P3 800 mhz 512mb sdram is enough....
