Be extremely cautious when opening a PSU case. There are two large capacitors on the primary circuit side, which carry lethal voltages of +250 volts or so!! Same possibly too for those massive heat sink plates. It could take up to 10 minutes to self-discharge those large capacitors. I had once hear...

After resetting the cmos with the jumpers it still will not boot. After many times cycling the power button it will...

Moving Dell Mobo to new case...

Hello gang.. It's been awhile.. I am still alive.. It's all good. I have a dell computer that has a bad power supply. I would like to move the guts of said machine to a new case. hunter1801, Thanks for the input. I am the guy that did the artwork and am a bit biased towards it. I did the logo with Gimp and that's about my level of expertise at this point. So far in this endeavor all I have invested is time and a small web hosting fee. The rest is done by me. Low dollar. :) Y...

fussnfeathers thanks for the reply. It wasn't brutal, it was feedback. PDT_Armataz_01_34 I appreciate it. There is not a whole lotta start up capital on this end, wonder if I would be better off not to mention the custom build stuff. I understand providing a service to the customer. They come to me ...
