Yes - the brush works very well but you have to be careful what components you use it on as it CAN create ESD. I do that trick on extremely bad machines that have been neglected for a while.

Yes you do need a third party driver to share Linux drives in Windoze. I was simply stating a work around (that works well) in case a person didn't want to mess with installing third party drivers that can crash their Windoze partition, make it unusable and cause them to have to do a reinstall.

But to my knowledge the ext2 file system driver will only work if you are using the ext2 file system. If you are using reiserfs it won't work.
