i think what it boils down to is that most of our cpu count is our main systems + the left overs like now i have the P4 my roommates hijacked P4C and a PII 300... and i think a lot of others have old durons, PIIIs and PII and K6-2's running which all help, but not as much as an XP or P4C.... oh, and...

i never delete any... they all need to be done. remember why we are folding

i would use any other browser than IE i never liked it even when i had to use it

i like opera, mozilla and firefox. firefox is the one i have currently installed

you could use konquerer if you wanted...that adds another browser to the list or nautilus

ya the stuff i use ive cleaned off my PIII800 i'd say atleast 15 times this year due to testing out mobo's for people

i think ill point out correct terminology here.... PCI are the white slots and ISA is the shared slot... the black one on the left....

ya i realize this bottle neck, but it would still be a small performance boost, and when i get rid of that board, ill have another slot 1 (sometime in the next 6 months- it will support 133 bus and such) that will totally utilize the chip and since it is for folding... every little speed improvement...
