Got it for the PS3 runs like a dream, and I know it would have struggled on my PC. Although I do miss my ASDF + mouse for shooting, the VATS system does a good job of making it more RPG like. Plus it looks cool!

Believe me, I've been gaming since the Commodore 64 days, so PC is my preferred platform. But my evga 7650 GT is showing it's age, and my PS3 is not. Plus 22" monitor vs 60" bigscreen is no contest, especially since computer has headphones and tv has surround sound. But I definitely agree that aimin...

Fallout 3: PS3 or PC?

And this doesn't apply to just Fallout 3, but most any game. I've got a PS3 and PC that's not very cutting edge. So I'm seriously looking to buy all my future games on the PS3, and get to enjoy it on the big screen with surround sound, etc. About the only thing I will never get into is First person ...

I personally use a HDMI to DVI converter, but it is hooked to a rear projection TV not a monitor. Works fine with the PS3.

Is this a comparison on price point? Exactly, and I do realize that there are other online retailers beyond newegg too, so milage may vary. Gaming wise AMD is better bang for buck.... Seems that way, at least at my price point. Trying to spend around 325 for mobo/cpu/ram. I was hoping to try someth...

Ok, here's an actual comparison of benchmarks. While they didn't list the 4500, I picked the closest comparable Intel chip above and below the 4500. I think the choice is clear. 3DMark2006 CPU http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/cpu-charts-2007/3dmark06-cpu,370.html?p=1251%2C1257%2C1256 3DMark2006 Gr...

Windsor vs Allendale

Rebuilding my gaming rig. I'm not really interested in overclockability, as stability for gaming is my main goal. So I heard people say the Core 2 duo is better, but is this Mhz to Mhz comparisons, or price point? Been pricing off newegg for now, and it looks to me that AMD is the better bang for bu...
