So I froze it. -20 for a couple hours. Before: spins up... screechy grindy noises... clicks. Now: Plugging in while cold.... clicks Warmed up (Room temp- 26 deg).... now it spins, no clicks, but also not recognized. Light is not flashing, so it's not really reading much. Should I go colder? Longer? ...

I found one for 600 if it hits the clean room, under 300 if it doesn't. Husband recently spent 700 when his hit the clean room. Boo urns HDD
Okay, so my second hard drive (non OS) in my system (SATA, Seagate barracuda) is done. I took it out and put in in a USB enclosure and I get grindy grindy shriek clic clic clic clic.... My computer saw it very briefly but could not see it again, and I don't want to keep rebooting it to make it scrap...
