So I froze it. -20 for a couple hours. Before: spins up... screechy grindy noises... clicks. Now: Plugging in while cold.... clicks Warmed up (Room temp- 26 deg).... now it spins, no clicks, but also not recognized. Light is not flashing, so it's not really reading much. Should I go colder? Longer? ...

I stayed at south point. Nice clean hotel, just south of the strip but there's a shuttle to mandalay bay. Obnoxious if you're looking at north strip, but the south is newer anyways.

Okay, now Newegg has a liteon blu ray drive for 150... now that's really reasonable. No, it doesn't burn, but at 500 dollars for a blu-ray burner and 15 dollars per disc, would you really want to? Easier to just have more hard drives.
