Modern bearings are so well designed that the factors of friction in this case would not even be worth adding to the equation. I see where my mistake is now - I was treating the tire as a point mass sliding across the road, not a rotating disk. I'm a little rusty on my physics...sorry...kinda sad c...

Monkey Island (My favorite game at the time) Agreed. I first computer was a Commore 64. Man that thing was SOOO ahead of its time. The NES came out about 4 years later, and the C64 trampled it in every way except load times. Durable as a tank, too - mine still works and I still love playing those o...

LOL YAY!!!! I'm apparently " DEFECTIVE " Different people metabolize nicotine at different rates. Some people even have a genetic defect in the enzymes in their liver that break down nicotine, whereby the mutant enzyme is much less effective at metabolizing nicotine than the normal variant. If a per...

srry about yesterday - random building evac due to a gas leak. I'll pick up where I left off. You say that you crave the effects when you weren't smoking. Hell, I crave the effects too - but I know for DAMN sure that I'm not addicted to them. Just because you really want to do something, that doesn'...

hmm....I'm actually becoming more sceptical of the actual "addiction factor" of cigarettes... You say that you crave the effects when you weren't smoking. Hell, I crave the effects too - but I know for DAMN sure that I'm not addicted to them. Just because you really want to do something, that doesn'...

why didn't you just say you hate smoking its not like any one is going to make you smoke Because when I said to people "can we please not go bowling - I hate the smell of cigarettes," people would usually react by saying "Oh, grow up. It's not like we're making you smoke. Besides, it's heavily vent...

While I was smoking I would get high to the point that it felt like I had just had some big shots. Afterwards I felt fired up enough to take on the world. To me that is calming down because I went from "Holy crap, it's only Wednesday?" to "Holy crap, which way is up?" to "Holy crap, I'm in the mood ...

You would not have to be concerned with quitting smoking, if you never start!! It's never that easy. As awful as this may sound, some people really NEED to. 5 months ago I would have said much differently, but now that I've experienced it first hand, I can honestly say that I think some people just...

If what you all are saying is true, then my experiment should be titled "can you commit suicide with cigarettes." I submit a vote of yes. I had no idea nicotine was so toxic. I thought it was like more like caffine than it was alcohol. I can drink a 24 pack of Mountain Dew in a day and feel fine. He...
