Hang on, so the newer bios that shipped with the board had a bug preventing the HDMI audio from working? Is anything documented anywhere about this? Yes, AMD seems to have issues with the Ryzen cpus. I am now able to resolve this issue, had to downgrade the BIOS from the one that shipped with it.

Ok thats sucks. Well,... I would assume that a 64 bit OS would fix this problem correct? Would I have trouble running all my normal appz on a 64bit OS? Games, Winamp, Skype, etc. Yes, a 64bit system would fix that issue. As for apps and games, I haven't encountered a problem thus far with Vista x64

For the PSU, you should better go for at least a 800W to 1000W. I suggest you get from OCZ, Tagan, and Gigabyte psu's as well as the Thermaltake Toughpower since I've been hearing good reviews with that.

With your questiona 1 & 2, are you going for Intel or AMD?
