E7500 Core 2 Duo socket 775. Bios fully updated. However after I looked at these SS just now I realize...

Follow up for kicks - here's a post with remapping turned OFF. I went from 1.3 GB free to 2.2 GB free. Keep in mind its only giving Windows 3 GB to play with instead of 4 GB, and this is the result. Baffling.

Asus P5B-E mobo reserving 2049 mb of 4gb [solved]

Went 4 GB of pc2-6400 when I went to an ASUS P5B-E mobo. Fresh install of Windows 8 Developer's Preview (64-bit) and its showing 2049 MB is hardware reserved. This mobo has NO onboard video, so where is this reservation coming from? I've got an ATI HD5770 and 3 Seagate Sata-2 160MB drives. Before bl...

bluetooth from samsung to laptop

Hello. Long time no post. Wife's netbook is Win7 w/ BT. Have two phones by Samsung, the R451 and the R355. These receive files from the netbook fine (like ring tones) and can cross-talk to each other the same. When I try to send a pic from the phones to the netbook, however, it gives a cryptic messa...

DV6000 series HP loses audio device

"No Audio Output Device is installed". Search that and Pavilion DV6000 in the same sentence and you'll see it all over the internet. The problem, however, is that there is no solution for it. The device may or may not be there each time you boot the machine. Drivers don't help because it d...

Network gaming would not see much difference because you won't be transferring huge amounts of data to game. Only file transfers or sharing will benefit.
