if u had the TOP conroe vs the TOP AMD ud know which is better. As I stated u dont see much difference in games... that INCLUDES FEAR. I also said that if you had spent any EXTENDED period of time with both running side by side ud see a difference... building a gaming rig for a friend does not const...

by bechmark figures they are more powerful... period...but eyes to desktop you see no difference whatsoever like for like.... Sorry to go off subject, ofcourse you can reccomend anything you like and he has already stated that hes an AMD fan so fine. But when I see incorrect information being given...

Ok well I just added my main AMD computer to the mix instead of my P4 (thats being used as a media center so it was getting too hot in the TV cabinet.)

Hopefully this will boost my folding a bit.

I really don't understand why anyone would vote to lock that thread. It goes against all freedom of expression to do so. The thread isn't hurting anybody and serves as comic relief. Hi guys, hope you all ok wherever you are. Just managed to get my grubby mits on an lcd projector, it has VGA input and 2 lots of RCA inputs. I'm going to stick it to the ceiling and rig it up to my media centre pc. i'm going to have to run aprox 8 meters of cable to it from the pc. i'm going to us...
