Back in the game

I'd forgotten about [email protected] for quite a few years, but this whole COVID-19 thing brought it back into my consciousness. Once I thought of it, I immediately remembered the number 33258. Couldn't remember my old user name (which, given my cringy handle here, isn't any shame). I've only one kinda-decent GP...

That's what I would think, too. The motherboard's manual specifies that the change is done with a jumper block that doesn't exist. I've been through everything in the BIOS and can't find anywhere to change this option (and yes, I did update to the latest BIOS).

Thanks for your response! I did have the TV monitor set to the correct input, and know that it was compatible as it worked fine at 1080p from my laptop through HDMI. I just gave up on trying to use the motherboard's HDMI port and got a DVI/HDMI adapter plug as you suggested, and that's working fine....

I've tried it with only the HDMI monitor connected or...

No worries, wow, I don't think I'd have remembered to check a thread from this long ago! :) I don't blame you for not wanting to buy an ECS board again. My ECS board I mentioned earlier in the thread is long gone as well (bad capacitors). I hope your new system is reliable - based on your sig, it lo...

Multi-Hard Drive External Enclosure?

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an external hard drive enclosure. However, I'm looking for something a bit specialized. It needs to support four 3.5-inch PATA hard drives as independent drives (the four drives are different capacities so I assume I wouldn't be able to use RAID). I found a product very ...
