Alright, thanks for the info, trying it now.

Direct Parallel is now installed properly but my CDrom drives are still (!). One of them is a virtual drive created by Alcohol 120%. I'm going to reinstall windows ontop of this installation, see if that fixes anything.

Direct Parallel Malfunction

Hello, recently I downloaded BHT v2.9 (http://www.majorgeeks.com/BHT_d4855.html) and I decided to mess around with some programs, most notably "EzPcFix", where you can disable programs and various other thingies. While doing so I believe I broke the driver that controls the CD Rom drives, ...

Thank you Hardware Junkie, that fixed it.

For some reason, after many restarts, it did not accept %SystemRoot%\system32 as a valid path. It was in there originally, but it did not recognize it. So I put in C:\Windows\System32 also, and now it's working.

Thanks again!

Ping & Tracert commands!

Hello! My ping & tracert console commands are missing. I uninstalled some games & programs and also did an offline defrag with Perfect Disk 7, I don't know if these things deleted my ping/tracert, but I use them for work and other things, and now it tells me that it is neither an internal or...

Wow, thank you for the insight into the CPU manufacturing process. :)

I'll see if getting some higher rated ram would help. Probably DDR550 or DDR600.

Well, I tried using the 8:2:1 CPU:AGP:PCI ratio and 260-267mhz gives me the correct AGP/PCI frequency. Although games still crash. I tried 267mhz FSB/HTT, 9x multiplier, 3x LDT/HyperTransport Bus multiplier, DDR333 Divider(216mhz instead of 260-267), and 1.6v VCore. Even with all of this, games stil...

I did hear about the bad AGP/PCI locks. I'll try running it at 8:2:1 for a total of 267mhz/66mhz agp/33mhz pci and I'll let you know how it works out.

I thought that Enermax PSU's were of high quality, but I guess not. However, only 3D games fail when I put the components toghether. For example, I was running my memory at DDR510, or 255mhz, ran about 3 loops of memtest and it did not error a single time, and that was while my CPU was running at 26...
